An early thread to follow
Your Mac.
Your meeting memory.
Try the experimental Polyscript preview for Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 15 or later.
v0.1.0-beta.2 · Apple Silicon · 197 MB ZIP · Hosted on GitHub
Before you open it.
This preview is ad-hoc signed and not notarized. Review transcription errors before relying on meeting recall. The installation guide walks through first launch and local model setup.
Make yourself at home.
- Download and open the ZIP, then move Polyscript.app to Applications.
- Open Polyscript from Finder. If macOS blocks this unnotarized preview and you choose to allow it, follow Apple’s first-launch procedure in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.
- Choose Explore a synthetic demo to try search and source-linked answers with fictional meetings. No model download is needed for the demo or keyword search.
- For audio, explicitly install Whisper Tiny in Settings. Optional search and answer models are separate downloads. The app includes its native runtimes and needs no separate Node or Homebrew installation.
- Ask everyone involved for permission and agree on transcript use before recording or importing. Do not use or share transcripts outside that agreement. Interview use is prohibited, even with consent.
Check the download.
The ZIP contains the Mac application and its bundled runtime notices and source archives. Model weights, recordings, and saved meetings are not included.
